Silage Packaging Service by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services and Geothermal Resources Department has planned to establish a silage packaging facility in the districts of Ankara (Sincan, Çubuk, Bala, Polatlı etc.) that has a high potential of agriculture and livestock by the aim of providing affordable roughage to farmers of livestock and dairy cattle in these districts and decided to establish a silage packaging facility in our Region. A silage packaging facility has been established in our Region by Rural Services and Geothermal Resources Department by making required investment to an area whose location has been specified after the mutual meetings and this facility started to provide services. Animal feeds obtained by silaging of roughage (corn, beet bulb, trefoil, and tare etc.) that harvested as fresh products become more durable and roughage needs of bovine animals are economically met all the year around without being affected from price fluctuations by fermenting these silaged feeds.
